Our walkers

Employees, not contractors.

Manhattan pet owners want to know that the same vetted person keeps showing up — not a rotating cast of app-dispatched strangers. So we hire walkers as W-2 employees, train them, and pay them well enough that they stay.

Why it matters

What that means for your pet.

Same face, every visit

Your pet has a primary walker who actually knows them. Backup walkers (also employees, also vetted) cover when needed — never an unknown driver pulled from an app.

Vetted, bonded, insured

Every walker passes a background check and is insured and bonded under the company's policy. Keys are tracked. References are checked.

In it for the long haul

Walkers stay for years, not weeks. The employee model means we can afford to train and retain, which is why long-time clients still see the same person at their door.

Meet one of our walkers

Myk has been with us 10 years.

He's our most tenured pet care professional. If a long-time client mentions a walker by name in a review, it's usually him — but he's one of several on the team, and your match depends on neighborhood, schedule, and your pet's particular needs.

Myk (pronounced Mike)

Pet care professional · 10 years

Greetings, my name is Myk (pronounced Mike). I am born and raised here in Manhattan and for as long as I can remember I've always had a love for all animals. My family has always been a dog family until I broke the chain by adopting my beautiful little feline named Zelda and the two of us couldn't be happier together.

I have been in animal care now for 10 years and truthfully I couldn't see myself doing anything else. They say when you love your job it doesn't feel like work and oh boy that is totally true. Seeing the excitement from my four-legged friends as I arrive for our fun time together always fills me with pure joy.

When I'm not caring for my four-legged furry friends you will usually find me gaming with friends, as long as my cat will allow it, as well as spending time with close friends by going to movies, museums and taking walks through our artificial city parks.
