Paw Prints was founded to do one thing well: take care of New York City pets like they were our own. Sixteen years in, we still walk the same blocks and answer our own phone.

History
How Paw Prints started.
Tiana founded Paw Prints New York while attending Fordham University while working as a pet professional to help cover student expenses. A compassionate animal lover and dog walker, she quickly became disillusioned with the standards of animal services available to pet owners in New York City. She launched her premium pet care company in 2010 to provide top-tier quality and customized in home pet sitting and animal care. Paw Prints New York accommodates the lifestyles and guarantees the safety, enjoyment, and security of Manhattan's finest furry residents and their humans.
Tiana, the founder, has since stepped away from day-to-day operations. The team she built is smaller now, but the standards she set in 2010 — the ones below — still define how we operate.

Exercise under professional watch
Every walk is led by a vetted pet professional who reads leashes, collars, and harnesses correctly and adjusts for weather, traffic, and your dog.
Clear, timely communication
A photo and quick text after every visit. Email replies during business hours. Customer and walker support available outside hours when needed.
Individualized care
Feeding schedules maintained, fresh water, proper medication administration. Every pet gets a routine that fits them, not an assembly line.
Inclement weather handling
Dogs are covered during bad weather and towel-dried once returned home. No skipped walks because of rain — we plan around it.
Insured, bonded, background-checked
Every pet guardian on the team is insured, bonded, and has passed a background check. Vetted backup guardians available if your regular walker is unavailable.
